Yep - 2 different OPC's quoted same price.

That part no is for the long strip that goes from the passenger air vent to the heater controls.

The black cover for heater controls (944653203001db) is £20.31+ VAT - is that what you are thinking of?

no I broke the end off the long one like you, the more expensive one is the LHD one £10 more than the RHD one

they must have got a bit more expensive, I just broke my second rosette for the air vent stupid things.

944 552 451 00 another 7 quid for my clumsy fat fingers.

So, what should have been £30 to fix my clock will now be more like £70 with the bulb & trim piece

Ian K we can start a broken trim club, 'cos I did exactly the same thing.......

Currently waiting on the bits arriving from Aberdeen Porsche although I managed to get
a new bulb from my local factors for £1.50 all in Incidentally I managed to get
10% off the small piece and 5% off the larger one by mentioning Tipec........
oh and grovelling.......a lot.

Amazing the part has gone up by almost 50% in the last few months, Porsche classic who price these parts must know they are brittle and now the cars are worth a few quid more I can see all the other bits going up too

Maybe I should buy 10 - and hope they'll be worth double again in 2 years!

New trim arrived saturday and fitted without managing to bloody well break something else,
I saved that for one of my other jobs..........

Still can't believe I paid THAT MUCH (!) for two pieces of crappy 80's plastic, but when you are
staring straight at them the cracks rather undo the fact the clock now works.

I just collected an identical cardboard box from my OPC - I only snapped the long piece - but no doubt I'll snap the heater panel when I take it apart to fit the new clock bulb & trim.

By the way, my OPC gives me 10% "classic" discount so it was only £29.75 + VAT.
