I'm about to have the car serviced and was wondering what the options are to the standard air filter - or are there not any for the S2?

K&N do a direct replacement panel filter to go in the airbox.

Don't waste money on so-called performance filters. A nice clean original filter in the original airbox works great on a standard road going car.

I personally have a k & n, cost 38 quid and is re useable for ever. As an oem filter is about 18 quid its a good deal.

And possibly some small performance gain too.

My biggest gripe with K&N filters is that they rarely stay as clean for as long as they claim. If you ask me, an OEM one tends to stay cleaner for longer :).
