Hi Adrian

Here is where everyone calls me an idiot....lol
Car went to Pauls... Paul didnt even bother to take it off the truck...lol
He tunred it over, pump WAS running, Injectors WERE running....
Then he looked at the leads that I changed.....
All the plug leads were fine, all going to the correct cylinders....
I had put the COIL LEADS ON THE WRONG DIZZY`S !!!!!
Twin dizzy system and Porsche in their wisdom make the RIGHT coil feed the LEFT dizzy (looking from front of car)
The LEFT coil feeds the RIGHT dizzy....
Soooo when I fitted the new coil leads I put them on what seemed to me to be the closest dizzy and as they are different length leads (one short and one long) it sort of made sense (although to be honest I never really thought about it)
I "thought" I had put them back in the same place they came from....(which is why its my idiotic fault..lol)
So although all the plug leads apart from the coil leads were correct, it was trying to fire on the exhaust stroke.... and obviously wouldnt start as not at end of the compression stroke

So although I am an idiot I posted the answer in case anyone else has the same problem.....
My 928 had a nice day out to Stroud.... left at 9.30 this morning and came back from its 230 mile round trip at 4 pm.... lol

Paul looked at it instantly and fixed it and sent it back...all in the same day...... now thats what I call service

All the best Brett
