I have replaced the OE wastegate for a Tial F38 and fitted a new cycling valve, running in single port mode. Road tested yesterday and found that when the turbo makes boost there is a Woooosh sound from somewhere, is this right or have I done something wrong?

Do you have a video at all? It sounds like there is an air leak somewhere, be it a split line or a loose pipe.

I had an old Saab 9000 turbo that dropped a spigot from the inlet manifold - made a massive wooooshing noise but no go... have a look on the TB or anywhere around there that might have higher pressure air fed to it and you might find a split pipe or something...

Thanks for the reply. She is making full boost. I haven't had chance to investigate further this weekend, hopefully over Easter I will find the time. Please keep your suggestions coming.
