Looks really nice

I did my worn out door pillars with satin black wrap nice and easy to do looks fab,

You must be a bit of a perfectionist as the car looks good, to want it painted all over

It's one of those cars that at ten paces or in a photo looks fine. The bodywork guy more or less said what you have, but then you start going round it and the dings and bubbly bits start to mount.

At some point in its past someone did a lower half repaint to an ok standard, but with some corrosion to the sills, peppered door mirrors/a pillars and the usual front end collection stone chips it deserves a proper job that will hopefully look the business and last. Fingers crossed etc!

Replaced the fuel lines up the top with the Lart items, also fitted a walbro pump. Hopefully it's ready for mapping next week now.

Took my door handle off to replace lock cylinder, cut lots of fingers, got the connector onto the ball inside and then ,,broke the connector, repeated the task again with a spare piece and broke another connection piece..Reconnected the handle ,left the door skin and 6million screws in the shed ordered a new piece and had a beer..bad afternoon.
Oh and I poked at a nice rust lump on rear wheel arch and made a nice hole. :)

Everything is so easy to get at without widow mech,

Had all mine out recently and a great time to replace glass runners and door membrane

Not so sure passenger side is that simple, pile of motor, central locking ,screws etc. to remove right where access is required...I probably will go that route next time out.

Changed door handles to 968 type, much, much easier with glass out and you can give everything a good clean and lube.
Fitted new JBL speakers ,cleaned and sprayed speaker grills. They looked like someone had been using them as a boot scraper and new ones are £70 a pop!

Endoman, did you have more trouble with passenger side? ,Its just what was in front of me last Sat was a huge task,in hindsight, a job done right once, is still easier then a job done wrong twice..!
I bow to your superior knowledge, and will attack it again over the weekend.

Still getting exhaust fumes in cockpit with window open after fitting new boot seal. Adjusted pins and priced up the additional gasket, nearly fainted £200.
