Hi, Does anyone know of a late 944 turbo S gearbox for sale. A nice low mileage one with LSD and cooler would be good, but anything considered. Cheers Tim

Form an orderly queue - I have been looking for he same for the last 6 months, they are not exactly common.

its not what you asked for, but thought i would mention what i do have, if its of any use at all.

i have both an 86 turbo box, and an s2 box, as well as a lux box which is fitted with torsen lsd unit from audi 016 gearbox

the torsen lsd could be fitted into the turbo or s2 box, and any aftermarket cooler could be made to be retrofitted. could even have the turbo gears hardened/cyro treated etc if you want something to deal with extra power. a genuine turbo s box will be fetching silly money these days, thats if you can even find one. the sort of money you will need to spend, you could rebuild and strengthen/fit an lsd etc to a stock box for less money, and have a fresh box.
