Before I dive in and remove the mounting bolts to gain access over the torsion bar tube to the fuel/brake line pipe support and brake line t-piece, I'd like to know if its possible. Just to drop it a couple of inches would make wold make things a bit easier. Workshop manuals and other guides indicate remove exhaust, drop drive shafts on and on with mega bills from garages. I was looking at Elephant racing site ref article about replacing spring arm bushes, which involves removing torsion bars, doesn't seem to need all aforementioned. Lots of people have done this so whats the quick way please?

It is possible I did it by removing the bolts one side a a time, just helped another 968 owner and the lower spring plate end cap bolt (the one lowest on the car with the nut next to the jacking point) was well and truly stuck in the hole

The only way to get it free was to put the nut back on then a socket over the end of the bolt then wind the nut off forcing the bolt through the mount, hard work but got it done.

A 19 mm socket over the head of the bolt while its under pressure given a good clump with a lump hammer helps to break them free
