refurbished knob....first attempt

Not the finished article but have made the first trial of refurbishing the leather gear knob, that has no leather on it..

here is the first attempt for a trial.

going to redo it again with a red cross stitch in a better leather now I have the technique...

Doesn't the attachment at the bottom restrict you engaging reverse? :lol:
