Hi All,

I will need to use my 924 for commuting in the new year and I will be parking it in a city centre long stay car park. It does not have an immobiliser but I have now fitted a cut off switch for the fuel pump. I now want to have a visual deterrent and I was wondering if anybody can recommend a Denver Boot (wheel clamp). I don't want to come back to broken locks!!

Thanks

David

Personally I wouldn't go for a wheel lock I would buy a fully enclosed steering wheel cover. The fully enclosed ones are best.

This is ok until you meet a car thief who carries a selection of steering wheels around with him...

Thanks for the suggestions. I had a look at the reviews and tests on steering wheel locks and unfortunately, it appears that even the full disc covers can be cut off with hand tools within 2 minutes. I have now bought one of these..

There is just enough clearance to get this on the front wheel with the wheels turned about 20 degrees. very well made bit of kit.

Thanks

David

Looks like a substantial bit of kit David, lets hope they dont cut the front wheel off and nick the wheel clamp

Good luck with the new job, the exercise & fresh air will do you good!! :D
