just noticed that every so often the speedo needle just dropped down then a few seconds later it picks back .most times when changing gear.any body got any ideas

mine did that when i bought it, from memory it was an easy fix, the speedo sensor on the gear box if i remember correctly it was cheap and only took a few mins to change
