On my way to work this morning my oil pressure light came on, i had to keep the revs up just to keep the light off.
so i ordered a new pressure switch as it is fairly cheap, i suspected the oil pressure relief valve but at £250 i cant go there!
so i removed the old one, the piston seemed stiff so i gave it a clean out and the piston now moves freely.
put it back in and.... wow my oil pressure has never been so good, even on a warm idle the gauge is in the middle.
i will also fit the switch when it arrives, but its good to get a very cheap fix.

I would be a bit concerned it made that much difference I think i would put a pressure guage on it just for Sanity
