The Silver Boxster doing donuts while p*ssed on wet grass at 1am missed two of our cars by 5 feet
The chances of damaging your car, our cars and more importantly hitting and seriously injuring somebody were very high.
You were very lucky there wasn't an accident !!

Sorry you guys had a pillock on the campsite, there's always one.

I would like to thank everyone who came along to support the show and the Saturday party was great fun.

Young Waller will have his satchel searched next time and the pea shooter confiscated. :D

Thanks to all the Marshalls who parked the cars, the Regional teams for manning the office.

Richy and Mark who sorted Cars for Sale and Pride of Ownership.

Jo and Clive who organised the Traders, Party and the raffle and for the car logo quiz which drove us all nuts.

Finally Tony Webb who did a great job keeping the show alive on the mic.

Wow I'm so glad I joined TIPEC. Gaydon was a blast and a total bargain to boot. The staff were really friendly and the prices reasonable. Every one I met was enthusiastic and friendly and it was amazing to see so many Porsches in one place on tarmac and feel as if I belonged, thats a good feeling. The off road experience was pretty good and you were guaranteed to share the Landrover with a group of like minded people, Porsche people who else.
The track time was pretty intense, for a beginner and although I joined with a little nervous antisipation it soon became apparent that every one was going for it and once that first high speed bend was behind me I was able to settle down and get on with it. Talk about baptism of fire. I will definitely be booking that again if I get the chance. I learned loads about my car and thats strange after having owned it for a few years and been no stranger to speed, where permitted of course. Last time I was on a track was about 30 years ago at Brands Hatch with the Stag Owners Club doing a parade lap or two, max speed about 40mph :)
Thanks to all those behind the scenes folks for putting on a great show and making the day such a success for people like us

Hi Folks

Just wanted to add my 2p to the rave reviews! Cindy and I thought that this was the best TIPEC event EVER. To all those who had anything to do with the organisation, and especially to Sean, Clive, Jo and Haley - - THANK YOU!!

What a grand day. Gaydon is the perfect place to house this event and we look forward to seeing another success next year.

It was also nice to see some old faces from all over the country and to shake some hands again. Grand bunch of people and cracking display of cars. Outstanding!

Thanks, guys and gals!

I was the lucky chap who won the apple with all the flags in :)
Not the prize i wanted, but nevermind.
Colt45 gave me an orange with a flag in it :| (thanks mate).
And the "boxster incident", well it wasnt the best idea. I dont know his name, but spoke to him the day after and he admitted it was a mistake!
Overall i enjoyed the weekend, had a laugh met sum funny people and seen lots of porsches :D
Lets do it again.

I would like to add my thanks to all those involved in organising both the party and the National Day, well done to all of you!

Amazingly, I actually won a prize in the car logo competition. Usually, I can't win an argument (just ask the Wife!).

I should also thank Mark for allowing me to put my car on the Race Glaze stand and to Dave for his efforts with the machine polisher and for pointing out all of my paintworks little defects too
I need to finish the rest now!
