I've posted a few times in the past but have just got around to actually joining TIPEC so thought I should say "Hello".

Live a few miles from Watford, NW of London. My Welcome letter tells me I'm in the Thames Valley region - hope to get along to the next meet, and maybe try the Ace Café Porsche evening. Does anyone go to these?

I've just booked my ticket to the Brands Hatch Festival of Porsche, Sun 21st Sept. I have booked as a "Porsche Owner" which got me £5 off as long as I park up in the display area. I couldn't persuade my wife or kids to come along, so I'll be going alone. Anyone else going?

There is mention of a Porsche parade lap at the end of the day, which I would love to do, but the details are not clear. Anyone know any more?

I will be going to Brands Hatch on Sunday, not sure what the parade lap entails. My experience of parade laps is that they are not usually worth the effort.

Hmmm think I might go to that Brands meet on the 21st too, nothing else much on, and not long before the old girl gets tucked away for the winter, and put the car in the garage anyone else going?
