 Post subject: what do you call the part that covers the heater motor,

The plastic cover that deflects water.it's very thin plastic and brittle.can't look to see a replacement because I can't think what it might be called....

PET lists it as a ' cover'. For an 944s2 its part no 945 572 063 04. ( In the body section ).What year/model is your car?Seem to recall they're ridiculously expensive.

It's a 86... If it's crazy money and I know what to call it, on might look on the bay of fleas, find an ok one and fix the cracks with silicone? Just think it might be a source of water getting in and it's sure to ruin the motor underneath without one....

I would refer to it as a scuttle cover.

that part number has been superseded 945 572 063 08 01C and its £71.89 inc vat
