You didn't keep the 996tt ?

I didn't really like it. Very fast and looked fab but not great to drive in traffic and surprisingly impractical even though its a 2+2 like the 944. A friend offered to move it on for me so I took him up on it. The whole experience was a bit tainted from the beginning when the inspection I had done by a well known indie failed to spot one major thing which then cost me quite alot and also a few minor things that almost everyone who viewed the car mentioned. To be fair there I hadn't noticed either but its their business to.
Just occasionally it was sublime to drive but those occasions were far to few and far between. Certainly no replacement for the 944 on a daily basis which was what it was for.

Great to see this, have you had much engine work to get it to this point?

I toyed with the idea of buying one but they don't seem to feel as fast as you are actually travelling, which isn't a good thing for a road car. I'd have to drive it at silly speeds to have fun in it. I've got a bike for that .

Not a great deal that was needed but plenty that I fancied!
The bottom end hasn't been touched but the bores have been checked.
Its had a CHG and a new cooling system and it helps that I have SH back to when it was 9 months old so I know what has been done.

Its then had the usual turbo mods: duel port waste gate, chips, fuel regulator, 55lb injectors. 3" exhaust etc so it goes nicely.
I have changed nearly everything else mind - brakes/clutch/alternator/ABS etc etc through wear and tear and failure.
