Havn't been out for over a week in her. (Working localy so useing the train to keep the salt of her & save a few quid.) Then tonight got a phone call to go & rescue the wife! What could I do. So give it a good thourgh warm up. It's about a 15 minute drive so was giving it some beans on the slip road to come out in front of a queue. Hadn't bargained on triggering the camera on the other side of the dual carriegeway. There are no road markings on on my side. In fact theres a barrier inbetween. Is it time to emigrate or am I ok????
It's hard to be sensible when you havn't used it for a bit. B****r

Are you sure you set the camera off?

@J.J. - I wouldn't worry. AFAIK, you can't be done by any camera on the other side of a dual carriageway. No road markings mean that the only camera capable of working would be a TruVelo which relies on wires in the road. Even these are marked in white (2 lines about 5 yards apart). They only flash once and it's a blinding purple light at night.

@lindsaybrown - If you don't get a NIP issued within two weeks you cannot be prosecuted, so you can relax.

Yes Lindsey & I'm ok too. But the B******s put 2 new cameras up in town. Used to be a 40 now reduced to 30! Didn't notice till I went through them at 35. I wouldn't care but it's a wide road with good visibility. Utterly pointless. Also reduce speed limit on dual carriegway to 30. And another new 20 limit on a section that you usualy do well to reach walking pace. Idiots  Notice that all these cameras havn't reduced the death toll. Just the same as it was 3 years ago.
