Hi I got this really annoying problem with exhaust fumes entering the car when the windows or sunroof is opened- even just a crack. Cannot smell anything when everything closed and the internal ventilation fan is running. How does it do it? Its worse when on the move. Any ideas?!

Thanks

exhaust blowing at all? maybe the boot rubber is old and needs replacement? which is possible because the fumes can circulate round the car as fumes are sucked from the boot out of the windows/sunroof. i would suggest replacing the boot rubber :)

Ok had a look at the rubber seals, there's one on the underside of the spoiler/glass bootlid assembly, and that is out of shape and has an obvious gap on the exhaust side. Thanks for the tip, Hopefully it won't cost a million quid from Porsche....
Cheers,
George

If you got fumes coming into the car it's maybe oil burning on the exhaust. With a torch take a close look around the cambox gasket & the oil cooler under the manifold. Also for any oil leaks you can find. It can run down pipes & blow around. Burning oil really stinks.

Hi

I had the same problem two weeks ago.
The seal to the hatchback had gone and was allowing the hatch to pop one of the locks. This then sucked the exhaust fumes into the car
Bought a new seal and spent time re-aligned the locks. All works fine now :P
Bought my seal from http://www.forestfine.com and fitted perfectly.

Hope that helps.

Try Forestfine for proper boot seals, cheap and easy to fit!
