Out of a rather large shopping list of bits and pieces for my S2, Porsche had 100% of the parts I wanted :bounce:

I put the order in on Friday but missed that days ordering cut off point and was told to expect the order Tuesday

Out of the total order I was informed 1 part was back ordered from Germany and that turned up this morning so I collected the lot today from Sutton Coldfield Porsche

Not bad at all considering the 944 went out of production 22 years ago

That should keep you out of mischief for a while, Sutton Coldfield have always been good for getting parts quickly

Nothing is off the shelf at the dealer. They order everything in with most parts coming from Germany for my 924 turbo. Even parts that are quoted as 4-5 days always seem to appear in 2-3 days. I would guess 90%+ of everything I have ordered has been available.

I asked my OPC about a blower cover and they quotes £70.

I've got a few things from there. I got a replacement wiper blade for the rear hatch and it was cheaper than a similar sized one from halfords. And it went on in seconds.
