As above really chaps, I'm starting the patch up / misc fixes on the rally 944 and after detonating my Konis on the last rally need to get the Bilsteins on in time for the next...

If anyone has any top threaded shock housings suitable for the B6s can you drop me a line? Not fussed if they're a bit tatty as I'll have them blasted and painted.

Thanks all,

Ben

So the B6's definitely a no go for the sealed strut casing then Benjj?

It's a shame they don't employ the same method that Koni do. What is Bilstein's official line?

Not really sure chap, I've got a billion and one things on the go at the moment and my mechanic said there is nothing he can do with what we have (and what the Konis are in currently).

As soon as I know the score properly I'll post up so there is a definitive answer!

Make sure that you get series one 944 or 924S Ben. Series two /1986 model year onwards will have a larger hole at the bottom.

Sorry ben, as much as I have hunted through the aladins cave for these, I can not find any.. I think the issue is that the last early 944's we broke up had so much corrosion on the front struts they were probably left of the shells for the crusher.

:o(

Anything else you need, happy to donate for the mission motorsport cause where I can

Ben,

I might have a spare set of 924S front struts going.

Best regards,

Bert

Thanks Bert.

Sorry, I should have updated this - all sorted now thanks to Matt/Pawn Sacrifice. Just need to fit the buggers now before the Rallye des Jonquilles in April.
