Yes is one off the things 2 do. Iv actually got about 4 that yellow colour. Most off the time there's a better way 2 spend £200, but it does make a huge difference.

Shame we can't get in on a group by.

I was only joking Terry! :D

I actually had to look at your pictures of your car and think hard about how to say something disrespectful as a joke without actually offending you!

All looking good and far improved from when we inspected her on that BBQ all that time ago.

I took it as a such.

Nearly brought a slightly used tank off eBay awhile ago but at £100 used thought I MIT as well get new.

Hasn't made it along to another meet sense. Hopefully get to some this year.

Hi Terry, I bought a new tank from an OPC last June/July time, I recall it being about £87 (or so). Have they gone up in price since then? Looking at the PET the same tank seems to be listed for all models now (including 968 if the fixings on the top are anything to go by):

Is the turbo different?

Hi, yes I would hope a 'T' in the hose would do it, it's not as if lots of fluid is moving (well it shouldn't be!) as the tank is just a header reservoir. If you could get into the tank then cutting another hole and fitting some kind of water tank fitting (basic plumbing stuff) would possibly do as an alternative?

Wheels was hard choice. Had lots off votes to keep the polished lips. Was cheaper too go straight black then have the lips recut. Tried by hand but gave up after 40 hours and two tubs off nitromorse, still hasn't got all the lacquer off.

Tom kits is good. Didn't get to dyno the set up has there's oil consumption issue I'm hoping is the hot side turbo seal.

But 4th gear pulls like 3rd
60/100 is now 5.5 secs in 4th from 9secs should be faster in 3rd
Boost at stock level comes in around 2.6 in 5th

Mpg was around 28 b4 fitting larger fuel pump and larger wheels so could be ethir, but its around 25mpg now.

0/100 is around 10 secs when you can get traction, not been able to use it very hard due to the oil issue but a playful m5 couldn't show me its arse.

Not sure how much there is to gain power wise over chip set, as iv not dyno both so can't make claim, but I would expect to be more then a chip set and maf. Plus the ability to change tune to macth later upgrades and changes. Plus the neat android app which means no need for stand alone gauges. Ability to data log and fine tune.

Will try and add some shots off the set up inside. Been using a mobile dash vent holder on the right dash vent, this holds a Samsung phone with the app.

The Apexi ebc is sits in the cubby hole under the stereo, and can be put away in glove box or behind panssanger floor mat. Cubby hole is still a cubby hole. All that's needed is the top off cubby hole cut out behind the rim/lip face edge or what ever you want to call it. Cut back to the rubber mat or slightly b4. Apexi now slips in and out and stays put.

The short shit from Jmg helps keep the gear nob out off site off the Apexi display
