Hi all,

I am keen to add a 944 Turbo with Heated Seat and Cruise Control to my collection.

Not worried about colour or interior

But keen it is a working car with good engine

I am based near Gatwick Airport and Brighton, South East England

I would guess that you'll be waiting a long time to find one to be honest, it's not a common option. 968's you may have more chance for cruise??

How about an aftermarket kit? Or an original Porsche kit if you can find one and then retro fit. It will open up a lot more possibilities for car purchase. I don't think heated seats are that common either but I could be wrong

I test drove a 944 Turbo with cruise 10 yrs ago in white, should have brought it then, but went for a 1986 911 .....

I viewed a 944 Turbo today with heated seat but the car was a bad respray and shabby.

Maybe I should re-title my request as Clean 944 Turbo wanted hopefully with Cruise and Heated Seats.

How important is MO30 and 220 (limited slip differential) to the spec of the 944 Turbo, is it a must ?

I think you would be very lucky to find the right car with cruise and also heated seats too.

I'd suggest the M030 suspension would now be sub-optimal in terms of performance at over 20 years old. Look for a car where the suspension has already been upgraded / perhaps to kwv3.

Assuming the car isn't a real high miler then the LSD is still desirable (if functioning correctly). The larger brakes and turbo with a 250bhp car if also generally more desirable for most although the 220bhp cars are good too.

Any further details on the car you looked at? Could save others a trip.

I just heard Neil that my old Turbo is about to be up for sale. It's a 220 with LSD, no cruise or heated seats sadly but it's a sound, solid car

Circumstances I think, but don't want to speak on his behalf. The car is still in good condition as far as I'm aware, but with more work done such as belts and engine mounts

No doubt it is a good car, it's a shame it is being moved on so quickly.

This car has only one heated seat (the passenger one), as spotted by 944Man. Not quite what you needed really..?

Probably a good idea to get the option codes and make sure you know exactly what it does have from the factory at least.

More money or less though ?
