The interior of my square dash 944 is dreadful, the door cards are awful and the seats are split etc. Will the seats and carpets from my oval dash 944 fit into it, the oval dash car is a much longer term project. I know i will need new door cards . Any advice much appreciated.

Yes if pre-split rear seat. Youll need a cassette box though.

Yes, though as said you will need the cassette holder arm rest box to cover a cut in the later carpet that in under the longer centre console. Also, there are a few places under the dash where the fit wont be exact (as I found out when putting an early carpet in a later car), but basically it will all fit. Seats should all bolt straight in OK. You wont have any wiring for the electric seat (or seats), but wiring in a simple fused supply is fairly straightforward and covered in this forum somewhere I think?

Post up some photos of your interiors.. :)

I will get some pictures tomorrow, the front seats are out of the later car so I will take pics separately. The door cards and window mechanisms are out of the early car but will post pics of the rest.

I have some surplus interiors, fabric seats, leather seats, carpets, door cards... All sorts. I might even have seats which match yours.

What part of yours is worn out?

Ok, may have sussed it :D
A single one of the 86 car first, it has great black leather and whole interior is good.
Then the early car with the rot free body.

They are both red but the early car is the one you are thinking it is.
