So 6 week later, much teeth grinding and hair pulling. (Not the fault of JMG) but a very incompetent supplier who managed to loose the drive shaft ordered and then play fuck about replacing it. I get the phone call from mark yesterday saying he has in his hands a brand new cv to cv driveshaft for a nearly car!

The one currently on the car is so bad after 300miles I have to re tighten the bolt as the vibration is causing them to undo. In fact two weeks I took the decision to no longer drive it until I've replaced it.

I beam from ear to ear as im told it will be on its way next day and I will have it in my hands this morning, I slept ever so well and didnt awake until 9am. I had a lazy breakfast and took a shower. Now at 1030 and no delivery I get agitated and ring JMG for a tracking number. Mark informs be he shipped three parcels and two are lost.

Mine is a lost on, the f**king apes at fedex can only tell him it was delivered in sleaford, only a mere 45miles from the correct delivery address stated on the packaging. Not only that, no one at fedex is willing to help either myself or mark in finding out who signed for them or what the hell they were even doing in sleaford. I spent the best part of the next hour shouting at anyone who worked for fedex (the woman at the scunthorpe branch managed to remain very polite as I got very irate with her to her credit) asking where is my parcel and why dont they know, after all its only £600. In my best sarcastic voice. (I also had some track rods in the package)

The customer office has me on hold telling me all the lines are busy, after 15 minutes im still flicking through the fedex website when it tells me they office isnt open on Saturday. Why does it tell me all the lines are busy on the phone, rather than the pre recorded messaging saying they are closed, or do they want to waste peoples time?

So next step I took to twitter, I believe ive sent 7 tweets slating them and asking them to explain where my parcel is, the missus also joined in. Needless to say they have rushed to help me..............haha yer right

I have also put messages on the facebook page.

Mark luckily had some more parts in stock and has got those on their way to me today but you can rest assured on monday fedex will be getting both barrels from myself if they can deliver parcels to unkown address and then not have the first fucking clue where they are they deserve everything im going to fire at them.

I knew theres a reason ive always used city link :)

If you like to help out feel free to send lots of questions to fedex on twitter
@FedEx
@FedExHelp

They clearly don't care for their customers

Cheers, I had considered them with my trade account but JMG look after me and the track rods were potentially a mystery, their knowledge helped work out the correct set. It was the delivery chimps that cause the problem and unfortunately my money is tied up in the parts which are lost.

I still haven't had a single message tweet or phone call from fedex so they must like people posting lots of negative comments publicly about thier service

Viral works with some businesses but not all.

Try mentioning a member of your family works on the production team for one of the TV consumer programmes. I've had both Yodel and Parcelfarce lose items that have miraculously been found within an hour and delivered by management on their way home from work :lol:

Seems there is another fedex parcel that has gone nuts in the Lincolnshire area, another one showed as delivered and signed for at 9am on saturday, but the customer had not even seen it, a bit of a panic ensued by the customer and us with no help from fedex, unusually his package turned up after lunchtime via a random white van man who just shoved it through his letterbox and left!!

So we have one package in lincolshire that has gone to completely the wrong area, and another which has was signed for and tracked as delivered, hours before it actually turned up and was not even signed for!!

Usually we use royal mail for most bits, and fedex is our expensive "rush job" courier.. but now are the "lucky dip" courier!

Sorry James, we will be firing some barrells at fedex ourself on monday morning, will let you know what we find.

How very odd! I assume the white van man was the chap who incorrectly received the parcel and took it to the correct address.

You've no need to say sorry, twas not you fault at all. you guys did a great job to get the bits on their way to be Friday. The people who should be apologizing haven't so much as said hello to me. Fortunately or unfortunately I has rained all weekend, so a faulty car has reduced the temptation to drive it but id still like to have had my parts.

Hopefully further viral will help tomorrow :D Lets see what tomorrow brings

I feel your pain, I had a similar problem with interlink once. They managed to deliver only 3 out of 4 wheels and knock down my neighbours fence!

Kind words good man. It must have been blindingly obvious that unless your a reliant owner wheel should come in fours

Luckily I don't have any neighbours so they can't damage any fences. I shall just have a peaceful nights sleep

Still have some left though greyer than before. Luckily mark has straightened things with fedex and fedex offered me £50 so i can buy some hair dye.

Needless to say I had some rather heated conversations with fedex yesterday and politely suggested that it might be have a good idea it have customer support during delivery hours an not just when they feel like it. I don't expect it makes any difference but it felt good to get angry :D
