Post by DavidL »

Its a bit quiet in here!
Anyone:

very close to me and I'd been considering replacing my old classic rangie for the winter.
Seems a good price with the 2 main issues addressed. Decent mileage too.
Many thanks

I am waiting for the diesels to come down in value a bit more in price so I can use it to replace my old Range rover dog transport.. I know, I know... Diesel... Porsche.. They are rather good, especially as a big 4x4 with a sporty touch, far better than a diesel Range Rover sport a friend has!

Not going to miss the ghosts in the electronics in my Range Rover that led me to buying a land rover diagnostic computer so I can clear the random (and I mean, random, such as "Vehicle Moving" faults) that only ever occur if you are 400 miles from home and cause it to deck the suspension!!

Go for it
Clean it, wax it, love it, ENJOY it... then fix it

I can highly recommend diesel in Porsche, there is a lot of nonsense from people on this subject who've never experienced it.
