Hi, new on here, looks like a great forum!! I'm after some info on a 924 Carrera GT, the O/S/F electric window mechanism is shot, will a standard 924 go in and work properly? I understand the glass is thinner, hence the question!

Most parts are shared with 924 or turbo. Just a few specific parts in body, suspension and engine. Window switches don't fail. Usually just need contact cleaning/cleaner. If the switch works but motor doesn't it'll be wiring elsewhere. Swap over the switches from other door to test which works and which doesn't.

PS you can't fire up a question without photos of your Carrera GT. That's forum rules! :D

Hi, thanks for that, it's the motor & linkage I have to change, I have all the correct lives & earths in the right places! So the 924 motor & linkage is interchangable? P.S I will post some pics later! It's a silver RHD version, very original!
