Our first 'chippy run' of the year to Whelans in Lytham.
Personally my favourite outings, a combination of driving my Porsche and food...!!!
After meeting at our new home 'The Boatyard' a convoy of 11 Porsches made are way to Lytham and met Ciro (our Italian Stallian) there.
Twenty three (I think) of us filled Whelens Chippy causing mayhem! After most of us getting our orders correct, we all enjoyed a fantastic tea.
After a drink at a local pub (all soft of cause) we made our way home.
Fantastic turn out, some new faces and great company!
Thank you everyone........

Sounds like a good idea, think we should embrace the concept here in the South, although maybe ' The Southern Region Quiche and cucumber sandwich refined Meander' would be more in keeping, wotcha fink? :D

Just a small selection of the cars that came along. Further links to pictures available on the NW page of the main web-site. Photo courtesy of AML911.

ETA The Friday Night Chippy Tea Runs are such a simple concept, but they've been really successful for the NW region. To echo Simon: thanks to all for coming and making the eforts of the R.O. and 2 x A.R.O.'s worthwhile.

Thanks to Andy, Richard and Simon for organising it and for everyone who came. It was a good run out and good food. It made my journey back to the NW sitting on the M5 and M6 earlier that day worth it.

Just a quick line to say what a great turn out for chippy tea.
Had a good night with good grub and great company.
What else could a man ask for.
