You could always measure them and check if they are within mot guidelines!

I did a week or so ago, and they were 2.4, and 2.6, but I have done a few miles since, may be touch and go for the test, and how accurate is my gauge compared to the testers? Want it to get through because do not want to put on new tyres until after wheel refurb soon.

sailed through, advisory on the tyres, and on the front bump stops, as usual , plus got the car washed and hoovered, nice cup of coffee, nice scenery :) and all for the same price as the usual greasy back street establishment :D

they are knackered, perished basically and have been for years, when I have decided what I do with my suspension they will be changed :)
