With regards to wheelspacers, would it still be safe to drive it with 30mm spacers on as im guessing it will prevent using all of the thread when putting the wheelnuts on?

You are thinking of shims. Proper spacers have holes to slip the spacer over your existing studs, then a second set of studs between the holes that your wheel slips over and bolts on to. See this Ebay auction for a clear picture:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/_Car-Parts-Access ... 286.c0.m14

http://www.jasmine-motorsport.co.uk sell 31mm spacers for £100 so they aint cheap.

Well i only paid £101 for the alloys complete with tyres off ebay so i dont mind forking out a bit more as long as they look right in the arches, im guessing the handling would suffer without them also.

Ive got my eye on a few parts now including a couple of wings, a bumper and a radiator.

The bumper is a s2/turbo version, would i need to alter anything to make it fit my car?

Im also not sure if i need the proper bumper bar for it or can i use my existing bumper bar (its fine and the bumper shocks were undamaged).

sorry but you need a pair of S2 wings along with the badge panel and headlight covers, not sure about the bumper but i think you need the correct mounts and backing bar

Sorry i should have explained, its a s2/turbo replica supposedly made from glassfibre and designed to fit a normal 944 model without changes to the front end.

Ive tried looking for one on the net to see if anyones commented on the fit and quality or them but i cant even find one for sale apart from the one ive found.

I have heard of these and while they look like the Turbo/S2 bumper they are in fact made to fit the differering line of the Lux wings/badge panel. Try looking on the http://www.clubautosport.co.uk website as I think they make them.

Didn't end up getting the S2/turbo bumper in the end, i forgot it was ending on ebay and it sold before i got online :(

I did however bid on his other auctions and got 2 944 front wings in red for £46!

Still looking for a bumper, drivers headlight , drivers foglight, badge panel and radiator.

I think im going to buy the spacers so my S2 alloys fit rather than buying different wheels, does anyone know what the correct mm option i should be going for? Its an 86' manufactured (87' reg) and the alloys are from a later model S2 design 40 i think.

if the original wheels are 23 offset and the D90's are 52 offset then you need 30mm spacers to fill the arches
