I went to the Goodwood Breakfast Club meeting last Sunday - the theme was "Supercar Sunday". Very busy, we were there around 10am and the main Circuit area was full, and the overflow car park was already half-full. Some interesting cars on display, with the crowd pullers being 2 Bugatti Veyrons parked side-by-side, 3 Diablos and a Countach (side-by-side again for maximum effect), probably about 25 Ferraris and, I reckon, between 50 and 75 911s of all ages. I lost count of the Elises parked on the grounds :-)
Breakfast is rather expensive, at £12 for a full English (organic sausages and bacon, they say) with Coffee, while a bacon bun with unlimited refills of coffee/orange juice is a more reasonable £5. Or get your own sandwiches and enjoy a very nice and free day out.

Here are some pickies:

File comment: Pimp my ride - not my cup of tea, but this set-up looked REALLY professional and expensive.

We were there along with some other TIPEC members. It was a great morning, probably one of the best so far. We managed to get our cars into the paddock, but knew that we wouldn't have a chance of getting along the pit lane straight on Supercar Sunday. I was very miffed to see the 993 that pulled into Goodwood just before me managed to get on the straight though! One of members got his classic Aston Martin parked up just under the clock tower, pride of place and quite rightly so as it's a lovely car.

Awesome number of fabulous cars and even heading into the 'public' car parks there were some great cars parked up that couldn't get in because they'd arrived too late. I overheard the marshalls confirming that the paddock was full by 8.30 a.m.

Shame about the accident outside the entrance between the Caterham and the Astra. I'm not sure that showboating on a public road is right, even if you are encouraged by all the spectators lining the road, it just makes even more dangerous in my view.

I shall try to get to the next one. For this trip, though, I'll be sure to wash the car first.
