Just a heads-up to remind forum users that it's the TIPEC NW Treasure Hunt on the 7th July. Starting from The Boatyard, our usual haunt, sharp at 2.30. All you need to bring with you is a sat-nav with full post-code search and a pen or pencil. The treasure hunt will (should) finish at The Boatyard where we'll decide on scores, winners and losers, and sort out some dodgy prizes. You may even want to have your tea by then as well.

Full details on the NW region page on the club web-site. This should be a good family afternoon run-out, so load up the kids, gran and grand-dad, dog etc and have a go at finding the treasure...

The North West pages of the main website have been updated with a full report on the treasure hunt. There's links to pictures and everything! Never let it be said that the North West region just advertise and attend other peoples events. Oh no, you get the full home-grown experience with us. It's like 'original gangster material' without the outlaw bit. Local events for local Porsche enthusiasts, devised by people who should know better - but don't, and nearly all of it involving pub food, greasy spoon cafe's or a fish and chip shop. That's right - we keep your waistline growing. We report on embarassing mishaps, missed junctions and onion ring theft. We encourage gentle driving through the countryside, cheery banter with cyclists and waving back at motorcyclists who wave at us with their indicators on. Join us for walks through cemetaries, looking at weather vains and poking around in piles of bricks. Just don't expect more than one paragraph per post. We're not that good.

You do crack me up, I always looked forward to visits to the North West meetings. it is always such a fun time.
