Machine polisher recommendation please

Hi,

I have those annoying swirl marks on my car's paintwork and a few surface scratches, just as most cars do. To be honest, they're not that bad, but I know they're there. I simply don't have the time to sort these out myself - full time job, 4 year old daughter and another on the way! To me, that shouldn't mean that I can't have my car looking its best. So, I'm looking for a recommendation of a professional, who can apply his magic.

The potentially difficult bit is that at some point in its life, the car has been resprayed, so it won't be known how much lacquer there is to work with. As a side issue, do I need to go to this trouble or would an extra layer of lacquer not be as good?

Ideally, the work would be done near where I live - Tewkesbury, which is about 10 miles away from Cheltenham & Gloucester and half way between Birmingham and Bristol.

The car is a 944S2 Cabriolet in red.
