What rear wheel size and offset are people running on the 968?

Will a 17x8 et 30 fit?

Can the camber be adjusted to accommodate the lower offset or is it not nessasary?

17'' rears on the 968 are 9'' and 55mm offset. I run 20mm spacers for the track which (in effect) take them to 35mm offset, but I had to 'ease' the arch a little on one side as it just rubbed. I also have 3mm of neg camber on the rear (which would be a little too extreme for a road car)

With the wheels you are considering being only 8'' you may just get away with it, but my gut feeling is probably not, unless you get the arches rolled. You may find that with some tyres it just works but with others it rubs.

If you struggle to make it work, there are plenty of Boxster rims out there for reasonable money with much more suitable offsets (assuming we are talking about a 968 or late 944)

Rolling/pulling the arches isn't a problem, the wheels I've found are perfect for the car and inexpensive, IMO boxster wheels look awful and cup 1s are very expensive

They will fit - you will have 38mm more inner clearance and they will stick out 12mm more than standard 17" Cups. Not sure what that will do to the dynamics though.

Rich, I realsie that htis is rndom, but did your Spax/z coilovers fit without issue. Someone on the PCGB forum (and here too) has had a lot of trouble with the rears and has had to remove the springs to get them to work properly.

Its put me off buying them, although I have apways presumed that yours were issue free.
