well as many of you will know I have been Porsche less for a while now
Dad knew that I had sold the old 911. He also knew I am a bit of a Porsche crazy.
Now tis is all a little mundane at the moment but here is the twist
bout a month ago I was sat with my stepmother and began for the first time in ages to bang on about how I wanted another sports car, I (we) may have been a bit drunk.
she uttered the words
"right it is that time then is it""Eh?" I replied
"
well your dad always knew you would start on about another Porsche , so he left me with some strict instructions about what to do when you did""what the bloody hell are you talking about??"
"right there is a stipulation from your dad that this is for a Porsche, nothing else, no drinking or smoking or holidays or anything other than a Porsche"At which point she rummages in a box and gives me a cheque made out as it turns out to me
, I had to promise that I will do what dad said and buy a Porsche before she will hand it over and let me see it.
that is the abridged sanitised version of the conversation, it contained a lot more swearing and a bit of crying.

it is a late 02 Boxster 2.7 with 228 bhp, glass rear window, fpsh, so really an early 03 car.
had all the concerning things done like the shafts, seals etc.
would rather have me dad to be honest, but the shock was palpable that he had done this. Wonderful thing to drive and have had it a month now
cant get used to the smell of the world with the roof down which is odd, pig sh*t etc
so back with Porsche ownership again and I will try to get to some Southern region meets
