All

I am new to this site so am not sure if this post is in the correct area !!. I am looking for a Drivers side 1990 944 S2 fog light lens. This is not the main lense but the small inside panel about 3 inch high x 1inch wide. I beleive they call this the "Fog light trim". Below is a site advertising the parts (no.2) in the U.S but at $70 + it hurts me :-)

http://www.lindseyracing.com/LR/Parts/944LIGHT.html

Anybody breaking a car with this part spare ?

Any help would be apprciated.

Thanks

Chris Adams

Hi Chris,

I've got a spare set but they're mostly damaged. I'll check the state of them when I get home. I take it your car is RHD?

Jim.

PS Welcome to the forums!

Hi Jim

Yeah 1990 944 S2 standard RHD. Got one from a chap previously but I think it may have been from turbo as it didnt fit. Would appriciate it if you can check and let me know.

Thanks

Chris

When you find a replacement part you should get some fog light protectors.
They are easily locatable on ebay and are developed by a TIPEC member.
Easy to fit and barely visible so well worth the £20 expenditure.

Turbo and S2 trims should be the same- and LHD / RHD. Never had either but the part nos are the same.

Trims are the same between models but all 4 are different due to being handed. I have a couple of sets here if you need one.

Can you send me some pics of the front nd back of the trim. I should be able to confirm if it's correct.

Cheers for your help

Chris

Hi Alasdair

The part number is a little faded but I think it is 1301099047 (L). I need the right lens.

The back of the trim seems to be flat. I will try and send you a pic of my left trim

If that's the one you need, PM me your address and I'll put it in the post. (Part number is 1301099048R for reference.)

Jim.
