Hello cousin Will

Ha ha! I know we do... How is your S? Well I hope?
Please come up to visit, it'd be really cool to see you... Maybe we could meet half way or something??
Progress, 03.01.2014- Visit to PH Sportscars resulted in a purchase of... A complete heater blower assembly including box, slider controls etc from a later car.... Also a 951 Rad and fans along with a few other bits, courtesy light for boot, voltmeter, clean centre console (mine has seen better days). Result. Except the rad fans are no good so it needs to go back

Not the end of the world though.
- Front end 99% complete and fully reassembled now... More grinding, cutting, welding, bending etc but everything is tightened right up and principally it is now where we want it.
There is a "but" ... There's a Retro Rides club meet on Sunday morning (at Limes Cafe, Newark for those interested) and I really wanted to take the car for a spin up there for a proper drive as I have not driven it much since I got it. Newark from Leicester is far enough to stretch it's legs but not too far from home should disaster occur (not that it should!!).
For this reason we needed to get it back together and there is a little outstanding cosmetic work to do in there. Also we will be upgrading the rad and tidying the lights up so it's no great shakes.
Some photos!

Doesn't look like much but it was quite a bit of work... Front end is getting there now but the list continues!
Anyway it is back together and driving well!
Finally a little video when we'd finished for the day (evening!)
