 Post subject: radio cassette

I have a 944 Turbo 1986. Can someone help me find a specialist to service or possibly repair the original radio cassette.
Apprciate any help

I used to do this for a living, many moons ago. You don't say which unit it is but I'd guess it is a Blaupunkt. These used to be a PITA as getting spares even for current models was near impossible. We used to buy old ones when we ugraded customers systems to Xmas tree out for bits.

Thanks Jim should have said it is a Panasonic CQ977 radio cassette. Will have a look at your suggested web site

I've got an 877 in my 1987 car, seems to have been mostly Panasonic around that age

My Panasonic has been replaced with this Dab unit from Germany, lots of the UK 964 boys have these too.
Still has a retro look, no flashing lights, just displays station frequency or track etc
