I read with interest that the Anglia group (?) are now meeting in Bury St Edmunds, this puts club night even further away. Having moved from the Midlands and got back into the Porsche ownership fold, I decided that the part of Essex south of the A12, actually some of Essex north of the A12 too, was poorly served in terms of TIPEC. I have been to one event organised by Norlon but a slog round the M25 to Enfield for club nights is always a bit of a lottery, similarly going to SE London at Wrotham.
Question 1 Are there enough members in my area to warrant a new group?
Question 2 If there are would the committee approve?
Question 3 Is there anyone out there who would take on the task?
I would but I am currently on the local council and I am my Lodge secretary, the Boss (Lynn) would be most displeased if I took on anything else at the moment.
Incidently, I have 3 friends all with Porsches who are not members of TIPEC because of the reasons I mention above.
Bru(ce).

Re: Meetings for S.Essex members
Hi Bruce
In answer to your question, we're happy for new regions to be formed on the basis of geographical need and if someone is willing to head them up.
We try where possible to make sure that regions are about 40 miles or 1 hour apart that way there is enough distance between them to have a decent catchment.
If anyone would like to set up an Essex region then please get in touch.
