Knebworth Classic Car Show 24/25th August 2008

Good Afternoon All,

I am in th eearly stages of planniing for this years show at Knebworth. Its a show I have been goong to for over 10 years now and have always enjoyed but for the first time since my 1979 Mini I can actually display. I was really looking forward to it last year until the accident so I am more detirmened than ever to get my car their this year.

This event is creeping up on me and given I missed it last year due to the accident and family holiday means I will miss Gaydon I am really keen on this one. I need numbers by end of July really so I can book the pitch. Please let me know if you want to come.

Just to confirm meet details are:

Knebworth Classic Car Show 25th August

We have decided that the majority of members wish to go on the Bank Holiday Monday so we will be meeting outside Pizza Hut Roaring Meg Retail Pk, Great North Rd, Stevenage, SG1 1XN between 0900-0930 which is less than a 1 min drive from the show. It would be great to roll in in convoy so meet us there for what always turns out to be a great show with plenty to do for all the family.

Well I just got back from today, shame about the weather, drizzled all morning. But car was cool & got asked to show him in main arena & got interviewed! Will see you all at Roaring Meg in morning

Thanks to all for coming today. 15 different cars on our stand through the course of the day and hopefully some new members. The best turnout our region has had since I have been a member. Ill post some pics in a bit.

Yeah we had a great turnout like I say and the rest of the show was pretty big. Not as many as I have seen before but still more than enough to keep you busy and with the adventure playground for the kids or Knebworth House definatley a day out.
