Hi All,
I am still restoring this 928 & now have the engine bay sprayed & looking like new the wiring loom clean and like new but can't find any way of purchasing the wiring loom clips [cable ties] that fix to the inside of the engine bay & hold the wiring loom in place. I have contacted the Porsche shops, dealers & other companies that supply classic car fitting but still no luck !

The Porsche main Dealer say there are 7+ ones it could be but don't have a photo & only have a part number so can only order in when I know the correct part I want !

Any idea's apprt from trying to remove the old clips from my spare car and using these but they tend to break.

Sorry may be a silly little item but I am looking to restore the care to them same condition it would have come out of the factory back in 1982.

Thanks
Malcolm

Hi All,
Thanks for your offers & help and I hope you did not think me rude not replying but I have managed to locate the correct Porsche clip from my local Porsche garage and at just over a £1.00 a clip I thought this was good.

If anybody is also looking for these clips I have listed the correct Porsche number, description & price I paid below -

Part number P999.513.023.40

Description Cable Clamp

Cost £1.12 each + VAT

Porsche Centre Bristol

Thanks again
Malcolm Thompson

I'm really looking forward to seeing this car when its finished

It must be 2 years since we were chatting at the NEC and you're still at it  What's the projected completion date?
