Its been posted in AT, its been raised on numerous occasions, but still we see not a SINGLE person prepared to step forward and help Sean out with the Secretary Role.

If members want to see the Club to operate in a well organised and efficient way, be in a position to respond to members, and deal with the paperwork, then we need someone to fill that role, and quickly, as there is only so much that one individual can do.

Sean stepped in when Trig resigned, and on top of his role as Chairman, has transformed and simplified the way in which the Club operates, at every level. My own responsibilities as Treasurer for example are made far easier by the changes Sean has made in handling income and expenditure, and we now have a solid financial base to work from.

The job can can generally be carried out in about 6 hours a month, and for most months it is less than that.
Immediately after a large show (Goodwood, NEC) when there are 30-40 new members to process, and it obviously takes a few additional hours.

Sean can give as much instruction as is necessary on what to do and exactly what is entailed.
So come on folks ...... raise the matter at your next meet and lets have some hands up please !!

You can borrow my Gr Espace & trailer ..... swallows wardrobes & vast qualities of French wine comfortably, so will cope with the Smallman household surplus I'm sure ....
