Hi everyone,

I thought I'd post a message to say hi as I've just joined Tipec after buying a 928 yesterday; some of you will know the car as it was owned by a Tipec member, sadly who passed away earlier in the year. The car has been very well looked after and I intend to carry on maintaining it in the same vein; I'm just really pleased to have been able to buy the car and look after it as it would have been before

I'll post some pics up when it's not raining, and hopefully will meet some of you at a social event around Bristol/Somerset in the not-too-distant future.

My first Porsche was a 928, absolutely loved it.

Hi Alex and welcome to the club and to 928s.

I’m on my second, and not been without one for past 14 years.

I won’t mention the c-word, but raring to get to events next year so see you at some of them!

Meantime just ask with any questions - the club has many enthusiastic members who are hands-on with their 928s.

Just wanted to say hello as well, I have just got my first 928 as well, dream car for me, had two Boxsters, very good ones as well but this is in a different league, feels like the supercar I always dreamed about!

I'm in West Devon, near Okehampton, not many Porsches out this way, mostly tractors! Are you in the SW?

Yes - Bristol/Somerset area We tend to spend a lot of time in Devon and Cornwall, so once this annoying lockdown is over you'll have to keep an eye out for us! (And we'll do the same)
