When will I learn? Research first, inspect second, then buy! Not the reverse!

Just bought a 1986 S2 auto at an online auction. Very silly, but very excited!

Wanted a red one for ages, would have ideally preferred an earlier 4.5 Car, but an S2 will certainly do.

Appears pretty original but far from perfect. I don’t mind as I plan on driving it, not polishing it so it’s the right car for me! Very much looking forward to collecting it next week.

Was listed on themarket.com last year by the same owner but failed to reach the 10k reserve. came back on the market this year and went for something more reasonable.
