Great price insurance

Just received my annual comic book quote from Adrian Flux for my 1991 944S2 they quoted £347 fully comprehensive with 5k/yr limited miles and protected no claims including my Wife to drive car valued at £6k and £250 excess.
I thought this was a little high compared to last year so I checked out Motorquotedirect
https://www.motorquotedirect.co.uk who quoted me £174 with Royal Sun Alliance.
As Adrian Flux had included a statement in their renewal that they would beat any like for like quote I contacted them about this and after sending screen shots of the motorquotedirect quotation they agreed to insure me with my original insurer with all terms as currently insured for £172 so a saving of around £173 which will go a long way towards paying for my car tax this month.
So if you are with Adrian Flux why not try the same and if your not why not try motorquotedirect.

Never found AF to be good apart from modified cars.
Most in TIPEC seem to use RH, Hegarty & A One.
I'm with A One simply because most classic insurers want the car garaged & mine isn't.

Yeah Jim I concur with your estimation of AF I originally went with them when I needed to insure two cars at once a 924S and Ford KA and they were able to offer the service I needed however since then every year I have played the beat the quote game and they have managed it everytime I think from memory last year they knocked about £150 off the original renewal.
My car is not garaged just stands on the drive even if a bit of a private affair still outside all year long. As long as they keep matching the best quote I get elsewhere I will stick with them as the service I have had in the past has been excellent.

Adrian Flux were the only broker that would insure my old Cooper & also a 106 Rallye. Both heavily modified. Always very good service. But a bit expensive.

Many companys don't like modified cars these days.

Very interesting - Motorquotedirect quoted £600 for my 911 when Adrian Flux quoted £360...

Try Hagerty, classic policy(so no no claims bonus) agreed value (although require garage) best value for my 993

They are pretty good, I've been with them for 3 years now and the cost keeps going down for my two.
Both cars are cheaper with Hagerty than the Speedster with Heritage.
