New owner (997 Gen1) so be gentle with me :)

I want to connect a battery conditioner. Will I upset alarm if I leave bonnet/hood/luggage compartment ajar, ie. on the latch, but not pushed fully closed - but leaving sufficient space for battery conditioner lead ?

I've read in the owners manual that the 'luggage compartment' area is monitored by alarm (not sure if that's just the catch, and/or motion
monitor ?

If not, is there an exit route via rubber grommet etc

Thanks in advance :)

Resolved - I got an instant response from same question posted on my regions facebook page :D

For anyone else interested - you can connect lead through the top of bonnet (ie. down from windscreen).

It's a bit quite on here..... doesn't seem to be much footfall compared to other forums.... maybe just a bad day... :?

Or remove the bulb from the frunk light, that's what I have done, problems sorted.
