1981 Porsche 924

1981 Porsche 924. Originally a race car but has been partially converted back to an historic rally car. It has a full roll cage (doorbar removed from drivers side due to incorrect attitude), strut brace, stainless steel exhaust, blueprinted engine (no proof), fibreglass bonnet, competition seat and full harness belts. Bought in 2008 as a project for my retirement but now I'm retired I have a bad back and asthma so it's never going to happen. Make no mistake, this car will need "re-commissioning" as it has been basically untouched since purchase. I've been let down by two previous "specialists" who promised to carry out specific works but failed miserably. £000's spent and not much to show for it but a reliable mechanic has managed to get it running. Paintwork has developed a nice 'bloom' over the years but a valeter has checked it over and stated he could get it looking fairly nice with a bit of hard work. it will never be a looker as it is/was a vehicle built and used in competition. Currently in secure storage in South Gloucestershire and so, if a viewing is required, arrangements will have to be made through me with the property owner. Offers invited in excess of £1500.
