Hi All

Thanks to Sean I found the FB page (the National one)

When I try and post there it does NOT appear in the main timeline of the page as it should , but in a tiny "Visitors Section" which you have to go look for in "Posts"

Is this meant to happen or is it a FB page only for whoemever controls it ?

As it means that anyone visiting CANNOT post on the main page as they will be expecting...as its NOT a PRIVATE GROUP....OR IS IT ???

Or have they just set up the posting permissions incorrectly ?

Not sure if this is the correct place to post about the FB PAGE so have also sent a "Messenger" message to the page....

Hi All

Chatted to someone official on National FB page and its NOT a public group....in case anyone else has this problem...

He pointed me towards the Southern FB page and have now requested permission to post there...without asking for each posting permission as I would have had to on National page

As members cannot post there without permission for each posting, its really just a sort of advert page , not a FB group...

Ah well, maybe it will change soon...hopefully

So to anyone else looking to post on a TIPEC FB page...find your LOCAL one and apply to be allowed to post...

It is a "page" not a "group"- they are different things.

No it won't change - it has a specific purpose (information) as do the 21 regional groups (Discussion).
