Nearside Door Handle MicroSwitch

Is the Door Handle MicroSwitch the same for 968 and 944? if so has anybody got a spare they are prepared to swap for money? I think mine is playing up and would like to repair if possible as it might be the culprit sending my immobilisor into shut down mode. Ive tried disconnecting the microswitch but the hazards start to flash and will not allow me to start the engine although it will turn over so probably sending a message to the immobilisor module which gets hot after a while to kick in.
