Becker Mexico Pro 7939 MP3/CD Player : £170ono ; Warwick

I am still thinking twice about selling this. It's about the longest I have ever kept a CD player and with very good reason ; it's superb. But I don't really have a car to use it in so it is time to get rid.
Those of you who know about Becker CD Players will know that this head unit requires no introduction. For the rest, Becker made head units that were basic in some respects but superb in their sound quality and general playback. They are also very foolproof to use. While the numbers may not impress they do surpass your expectations in the flesh and in sound. These are so good that they were once the choice of HU for Mercedes and were for quite some time for Ferrari & Porsche.
Anyway, now that I have bigged up this amazing bit of kit, does it have any issues? Not really. To me the HU is in 8/10 condition. The only flaws are that the volume knob is slightly shiny. That's it.
As said, this can play MP3 CDs and it also comes with an Aux in cable. If you look around the iPod kits do turn up for these or you can get an SD card reader to work with these off eBay. It will also come with the Becker box that I bought the HU with ; I have owned it from new back in 2007. What's more, the CD reception on this is top notch ; this is what Becker excelled at. If you have a '70s, '80s or '90s or '00s this is the HU that will look right at home. It will also suit other VWs very well.
The price? I'm going to say £170. The cheapest one on eBay is £199 + postage. But fire me a sensible offer and I'll see what I can do, I can only say no
