Porsche Enthusiasts Club Forum

The inaugural meeting of the Peterborough region, held yesterday was a great success. We had a good mix of both cars and people. The informality of the evening created a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. I’m pretty sure that friendships were being formed and cars compared.

I was especially pleased that everyone got on so well together. Everyone is looking forward to next year when we can form some plans about what we want to do. Shows to appear at, race meets to attend and trips to plan.

I would just like to thank all the people who attended it and also give special thanks to Jason for being the furthest travelled, probably 250 mile round trip. Great to see you Jason.

See you all at the next meeting on 11th January.

It was a brilliant night, loved every minute. I hope everyone enjoyed the evening and I'm looking forward to seeing you all next month.

it was a great turnout and the meeting had a nice vibe about it,
I'm sure there will be many established regions that will have less turn out for their meets over the winter months. Big thanks for all those that came out to play in their Porsches
A good mix of people, with one looking to sign up already and one ex member now wanting to re sign.

i think two were from the few guys fairly local to Peterborough that I have moved over from East midlands.
Don't forget there were also two that didn't bring their Porsches and I know of a few that couldn't come but will try for the January meeting.

So it's all looking good and the hard work in the last few weeks paid off

The pub looks to be a good location, although lets hope the burgers improve. Wayne's was a wee bit more than cooked though
My pie & mash however, was just fine
