Will TIPEC have a display at this one? Would be great to go to this and the discounts, if i've read it correctly, for car club members is quite nice. It's on 29th August (bank holiday monday) It may be too late to sort it but it's quite well placed for most regions.

That looks to be one of the former "Transtar Promotions" shows, which are now run by a bunch called Gemini Events. If anyone is attending it wouldn't be a "TIPEC national event", it would have been organised independently by one of the TIPEC regions.

TIPEC regions have attended a number of Transtar events in the past, but I am not aware of anyone going to this show.

On the face of it, this would be in North London, Herts & South Essex's bailiwick so perhaps pinging an email to Vince or Peter might yield some info.

Big events like the Silverstone Classic, Beaulieu "Simply Porsche", the Donington Historic etc. are organised at a club level.

Most events, however, are organised by the individual regions. They are normally very welcoming to members from other regions who want to tag along. For example, I will be joining the guys from Cheshire and Staffs for the Oulton Park Gold Cup at the end of this month. If there's an event being run by a different region and you'd like to go, just give the region RO or ARO a ping. Their contact details are in All Torque.

If my car is back from Retro restorers in time then I'll be there in it and am very much looking forward to driving a car without the engine mounts and steering bearing being worn.
